HYPNOTHERAPY

As the name would suggest, solution-focused hypnotherapy looks to help people achieve positive change. Rather than focusing on the ‘problem’, this approach centres around the solution. Using practical strategies, solution-focused hypnotherapy looks to inspire change in a relatively short period of time. 

Like most hypnotherapy approaches, solution-focused hypnotherapy is very helpful for those with anxiety, or conditions that are made worse by anxiety. For example, phobias, panic disorders, IBS, and stress.

Those who struggle with low self-confidence land negative thinking may also benefit from this approach. Solution-focused Hypnotherapy can really help you to replace negative, anxious thoughts with more positive and proactive thoughts.

What we offer

Our solutions-focussed Hypnotherapy sessions look more into how tomorrow could be a little better than today. 

The neuroscience to back up this modality of therapy is overwhelming. The more a person spends time talking about the thing that’s making them feel sad, the worse they are going to feel, which leads to feelings of anxiousness and depression, poor sleep patterns, irrational thought and behaviour patterns and an overwhelmingly negative headspace. 

By recognising that there is a reason someone is seeing me for therapy, but putting it to one side and concentrating on a more solution focused approach leads to them staying in their intellectual side of their brain. This makes rational thought patterns and decisions, develops better sleeping habits, produces more serotonin and other happy hormones and therefore feeling much more positive overall. 

The Sessions

I usually like to see hypnotherapy clients from my home, as I know I can create a comfortable, safe, calm environment enabling them to get as much from the session as possible without distractions.

The Process

We would first have a discussion on the phone, so we can ask and answer any questions my clients may have about the process. Additionally this will help us ascertain whether solutions focussed hypnotherapy is the best approach for them to take.

This would then be followed up with an initial consultation, and if you are keen to go ahead, provide you with a download for you to listen to as you go to sleep until we next meet. 

Our sessions would usually take place once a week, for as long as you feel is necessary. Our recommendation is to attend between 6 -12 sessions, although this is dependant on the level of anxiety being experienced. 

We firmly believe that you are the expert in you, and you will know when you feel you ready to be able to live your life in the best way going forward.
