PILATES

Pilates is a type of mind-body exercise developed in the early 20th century by German physical trainer Joseph Pilates, after whom it was named. 

A series of core focused exercises, yet working all of the body, Pilates is a great thing to fall in love with. It’s satisfying, it boosts your endorphins, it helps generate internal heat, it strengthens your core, therefore relieving your back - what’s not to love.

We offer a combination of face to face Pilates classes throughout the week in Fernhurst, or online in the comfort of your own home. These small group classes are limited to 10 people because we really want everyone to feel that they are getting the full attention they deserve. Our online class is a great, easy place to drop into if you need to stay at home, like your own space and are comfortable with your Pilates practice. 

Our Sessions

Our aim is to make your Pilates sessions with me different, dynamic and one of the highlights of your week!

 

Pilates is a dynamic practice, rather than lots of pausing and holding, and I always try to ensure the whole body is fully worked.

From balance, spine mobility, shoulder stretching to foot mobilisation - it's all in the sessions somewhere.

Group Sessions.

The group classes are a great place to be able to spend time with like-minded people and the atmosphere and ambience of the hall lends itself to all times, days, seasons and weathers. There’s underfloor heating, bi-folding doors, dimmer lights… and sometimes even chocolate!

The group in person classes are always limited to a maximum of 10 clients and are a fun, friendly way to meet new people, whilst getting stronger - both physically and mentally.

1-1 Sessions.

Our 1:1 classes are more tailored to your individual needs and levels, and are often beneficial to those who like that more specific advice, or need to schedule exercise around their day.

1-1 sessions are often helpful if you are new to Pilates, have a particular area or injury that needs addressing, or a schedule which means traditional class times aren’t for you.

Our classes are very popular, so if you're looking to start your Pilates journey with us, we highly recommend dropping us a line to check availability beforehand and also to ensure we introduce you to the right level of class.
